Week 5 of the out of competition open water swim series is a go! Weather conditions look favourable with minimal wind and the rain has died down. However, use your own discretion on whether you want to swim or not.
Wednesday July 26th, 2023:
Week 3 OWS will be WETSUIT ILLEGAL. Water temperatures are way too high. 24*

1500m Elite Category is based on 1:32 or less/100m. Must be 19 or older.

This is a great opportunity for those who are new to open water swimming or those who aren't yet comfortable to take part in the larger swims on Wednesday evenings. During this swim which takes place on Thursday evenings you have the chance to be taken out "one on one" with one of the TrainForTri coaches or even in a very small group. Rules:
Best 4 out of your 6 swims will give you a final score.
Points can not be transferred from 750m to 1500m, or 1500m to 750m
In the event of a tie in points in a Category, the overall average swim time will be the deciding factor.
