I am currently the director of the Centre of Research on Applied Psychology, University of Oradea and a senior assistant professor in clinical, cognitive and counseling psychology. My main research interest regards improving the extant evidence-based psychological treatments based on embodied mechanisms involved in clinical cognition. Most of my studies focused on deficits of mental simulations of affective states in individuals with subclinical depression, the role of rigid beliefs as a trans-diagnostic mechanism in emotional disorders, as well as on the effects of psychological treatments.
