Literacy and plurilingualism refer to the ability to use different languages accurately and effectively to communicate and connect with others in an appropriate and creative way. This competence encompasses the ability to understand, express and interpret concepts, thoughts, feelings, facts and opinions in both receptive and productive settings (listening, speaking, reading and writing), and in an appropriate range of societal and cultural contexts according to one's wants or needs. The ability to mediate between different languages and media, and maintaining/improving mother tongue competences are also included.
With regards to our project, this will be worked throughout the regular interactions between the two classes engaged in telecollaboration: collaboration, exchange, and feedback will be prioritized in order for learners to develop such competence.
