OConnells

The 1901 census shows Michael & Elizabeth (Timon)  O'Connell living with their family in Gleann. All the children except the eldest Mary are shown as living at home.

By the time of the 1911 Census Michael & Elizabeth are shown as living with Thady O'Connell along with 4 of their children- Patrick, James Bridget & Kate. Bridget (Dotie ) would leave for America the following year.

Owen O'Connell has started his teaching career in that 10 year period between 1901 and 1911 and is living at Templevanny as a lodger with Mrs Nealon and her son and daughter. 

Michael & Elizabeth died within 6 days of each other on April 30th and May 6th  1921. According to the records of their death their son Owen was present at the death of both. In fact, their deaths were so close together they are recorded on the same summary sheet in the GRO files
