The RTE documentary on the 1926 Census featured Louise Duffy retracing her family in Crossmolina on census night.
It turns out they were living on Erris St, next door to the (O) Brien family.
Both houses had dressmakers living there. What chances they occasionally worked together?

O'Brien household Crossmolina Beautiful handwriting from Charles Brien ( no "O") revealing for the first time his home townland of Lissavane in Kerry. A dressmaker and ( very precisely ) rural postman are some new occupations as is the news that Charles is farming 9 acres.

Lizzie, Kate & Pat O'Connell - Sisters & brother of Owen O'Connell, still living in Gleann. Interesting to note that Kate has declared heself as Head of household/family though 17 years younger than her brother. Also she is the one declared to be running the farm ( corrected from No duties ) . First and possibly only time to see her signature. Lizzie or Elizabeth has travelled over and back to NYC a couple of times as far as we can make out.
