WHAT HAPPEN IF SOME NATIONS ARE TIED IN ANY POSITION?
If two or more nations score the same amount of points in any position, we will apply the Eurovision Song Contest's tie break rule:
The first way to break the tie between two or more nations is verifying the number of nations that have voted for each tied nation. The nation voted by more nations gets the position. (e.g. TheLandOfFunFunFun and Ethnon are tied in points, but Ethnon has been voted by less nations, TheLandOfFunFunFun gets the position)
If the first way doesn't create a result, we check the amount of top votes (12 points) each nation received. If this tie continues in that regard, we descend down the ladder, trying 10 points, 8 points, 7 points, etc ... (e.g. if Ihese and Skaraborg are tied, and the first rule has already been applied unsuccessfully, this rule applies. Say, in this example, Ihese has two 12s while Skaraborg has three, the position goes to Skaraborg, due to the higher number of 12s).
If all of these measures don't result in a victor, we decide positions based upon running order. (e.g. if Mesvice and Izern are tied, and the first and second rule have already been applied unsuccessfully, this rule applies. Say, in this example, Mesvice and Izern performed 3rd and 4th respectively, Mesvice gets the position).
IMPORTANT: We don't take into account reserve points in the tie break, only points from 1 to 12. These rules will be applied in Semi-Finals and the Grand Final of every TNPV edition.
