Lecture Room B, 4th Floor, The 3rd General Building, NTHU
Speaker:
Chieh-Yu Chang 張介玉 (National Tsing Hua University)
Fu-Tsun Wei 魏福村 (Department of Mathematics, National Tsing Hua University)
Jing Yu 于靖 (National Taiwan University)
Jiangxue Fang 方江學 (Capital Normal University)
Organizer:
Chieh-Yu Chang 張介玉 (National Tsing Hua University)
Background & Purpose:
This course is a continuation of the course of last semester. We will introduce some recent advances in function field arithmetic. In particular, we will focus on the following as primary tools to study various problems related to Drinfeld modules and t-modules:
(I) t-motives
(II) Shtukas
(III) Bruhat-Tits trees and harmonic cochains
Outline
1. Special values as periods and logarithms of t-modules and applications
2. Cohomology theory of Shtukas and applications to special L-values
3. Eisenstein series, automorphic forms and Kronecker limit formulas
