As you can see, the VX & V11 main menus are nearly identical. The main menu has the following functions:

New Scene - At its core, TK17 is "movie maker" software (though most users enjoy simply viewing individual poses in various rooms, customizing models, and creating "outfits" for those models to wear). "New Scene" lets you access the various features necessary to construct & test the elements for a "Sequence" (ie: movie).

Media - While in the various editors, you can take snapshots of your scenes or even record video of an animation in process. Images are taken in standard "PNG" format and do not require the Media feature to view them. Video recordings however are recorded in a proprietary format that only the built-in Media player can view. (Note: The built-in video recorder is low resolution, a fixed size, does not support sound, and places a floating watermark in your video, making it of limited use. Most users prefer to use their own video capture software for making videos).

The three "Quick" launch options allow you to reload the room you used last with the currently selected models without having to go through the sub-menus. This can be a time saver later on.

Settings - Allows you to set the individual audio volume settings, mouse control settings, and make changes to the display/interface. Click the close button on the upper right to exit Settings:
