Rydyn ni'n caru Gymraeg - We love Welsh.
Criw Cymraeg is made up of two members from each class from Year 3 to Year 6. Our job is to make sure that children, staff, parents and the wider community are using as much Welsh as possible at all times. Mr Thwaite and Mrs Powell help us to do this. We hold regular meetings and try to come up with new ideas to promote the Welsh language. We hold fortnightly Gwasanaeth Cymraeg (Welsh assemblies) in which we share a Brawdddeg yr Wythnos (phrase of the week). We are currently working towards gaining the Gwobr Arian award, which has ten targets.
We celebrated St Davids by inviting parents into school and performing Welsh songs.
Parents took part in Welsh activities alongside their children to promote the use of the Welsh language.
Fantastic turn out of parents.
Diolch yn fawr!
We celebrated Diwrnod Shwmae by inviting children and their parents to share a video of themselves using the greeting Shwmae.
