Criw Cymraeg were successful in being awarded the Bronze Award for their excellent promotion of Welsh throughout the school!
Ymradd Yr Wythnos
In KS2 we have a phrase of the week 'Ymradd yr wythnos'. Criw Cymraeg visit each class, every day asking pupils the question and counting how many children in each class can answer. At the end of each term the winning class will receive a Welsh Party.
The aim of this is to improve the Welsh language and hopefully parents can encourage this phrase at home, so children are more confident in answering the question in school.
Criw Cymraeg have created this helpful poster poster and a short video modelling the phrase.
'Canu Cymraeg'
We celebrated St Davids by inviting parents into school and performing Welsh songs.

Parents took part in Welsh activities alongside their children to promote the use of the Welsh language.
