School Meals

Breakfast Club

At Tir-y-Berth we offer a Breakfast Club which is open from 8.15am – 8:30am. A member of Breakfast Club will be waiting for the pupils by the canteen out building. Pupils who arrive after 8:30am will not be admitted. If you would like your child to be enrolled in Breakfast Club, please collect a form from reception.

Lunchtimes

Please see a copy of the 3 weekly rolling menu which Caerphilly County have provided our fantasic canteen staff. Caerphilly aim to provide the healthiest and most nutritious food for your children every day of the week.

The cost of a Primary school meal is now covered under the Welsh Assembly Government Universal Free School Meals scheme. This includes a main course and dessert. Water is available at all times.

Fruit Snacks

At playtime we offer all children the opportunity to purchase fruit daily at a price of 30p per day. This money should be brought in and given to the teacher. We have a good selection of fresh fruit regularly delivered to school including apples, oranges and bananas.

Drinks

Children are encouraged to bring a water bottle (clearly marked with their name) to school that they can use. Children in Nursery and the Infants receive a school milk drink every day.
