'My best pregnancy decision was to learn about and prepare for the postpartum period.'
This page is here to offer potential paths to meet postpartum needs. Feel free to explore or create your own unique approaches. Don’t hesitate to share what works for you—I’d love to add it to this community resource website. Feel free to reach out: hello@atreetoldme.com
The 5 universal postpartum needs are outlined below. Consider how you'll access each of them, and make sure your partner, family, friends, and support team know your plan and what matters most to you. You may feel differently than you expect, and it’s always okay to adjust your plan. However, you’ll never regret having a plan and a strong support system.

CONTACT WITH WISE WOMEN
You will find your crew. Other people in your community, with children of similar age. One of the best way for that is to attend baby and toddler activities, some are free or offer scholarship/community spots. See the section Baby Classes & Activities . Signal and What's App parents groups are also fairly active around here (see invite links below).
Text your friends. Even if you feel like you have nothing to say. They might be afraid to bother you.
Call your grandma.
Ask your friends/family members to come over. Ask the 'Helpers' not the 'Visitors'. Ask the one you feel confortable being vulnerable around. The ones who don't judge, and don't have expectations.
