COMMUNITY SWIMMING POOL, Athens
Our facility boasts two pools and a small snack bar and is staffed by Red Cross-certified lifeguards. The season runs from the last Saturday in June thru Labor Day and the pool is open 10am-7pm every day, weather permitting. Lap Swim is 10am-12pm daily. Guests are permitted to use the pool for a daily fee (limited to 5 per season). Wednesdays are members-only days.

'Our pool is located in the beautiful Hudson Valley region of New York in Red Hook, Dutchess County.
We have a 6-lane, 25 yard section of the pool, an attached diving well, and a shallow end. We also have a separate kiddie pool. To round out our facilities, we have a pavilion, snack bar, and a pool house with changing rooms and restrooms facilities. We also have sunshades and chairs.
We are open daily for members from 12:30-8:00 pm beginning when Red Hook Schools are out until Labor Day, unless the weather forces us to close.'
LESSONS: Minimum age for lessons is 3 years old. For babies and toddlers please choose the learn to swim with adult swim program (9 months to 3 years old). For learn to swim with adult, a parent/guardian is in the pool with the child.

'We take lots of walks around here –some that are a bit more on the stroller friendly side include: Poet's Walk in Red Hook, the path at the Red Hook Rec Center, Clermont State Historic Site, Hudson River Brickyard Trail. We also love Burger Hill in Rhinebeck and Ferncliff in Red Hook but you need carriers for those.'
