This week's task was to make a mind map (diagram) in which we had to explain what the TPACK and ACAD framework concepts were and the value of using them in class.
To present the tasks of all the groups in class, we carried out a speed-dating, in which the two "stars" of each group had to present their mind map to people from other groups for 7 minutes, at the end other people would come from another group and the same thing would be explained again and so on until finishing with all the groups.
The members of the group who did not present their work were in charge of going through the work of the others and listening and seeing the explanation of their mind map.
TASK 2
This week’s task was to make a graphic story about Lemke’s book that would reflect the main potentialities of the ICT classroom.
To present the tasks, each group was placed in one place in the class and the stars moved from one group to another to explain their graphic history to the rest of the class for 3 minutes.
Once all the papers were presented, the stars reunited with their respective groups. After the whole group had met, we had to classify the work of our colleagues according to three different criteria (clarity, difficulty on creation and fav) and explain the reasons why we had chosen these works as the best.
TASK 3
This week, the task was to choose an activity using ICT, from the TACCLE 2 book for primary school and make it as we were children. Then, we had to make a Pecha Kucha presentation, (20 slides, 20 seconds each, that pass automatically), including on it the process of making the activity and also answering the questions of the document.
On the exposition day, all the groups presented their works to the whole class, represented by the two stars of this week. After that, we discuss what were the best ones and the reason why, besides, Linda gave us feedback in order to improve for the next time.
TASK 4
This week, the task was exploring tasks with digitals for fostering transversal competencies, we had to create an activity for tutorial action by combining four of the activities of the Taccle book of key competences.
To present it, we acted like real teachers in front of our classmates, we had to explain everything to them and try to develop the activity. Our activity was related to discovering landmarks of Spain, for it, students had to choose a famous landmark, then collect information about it, make a mind map using Popplet, and also with vocabulary.com to see some of the words that they have to include on their final project, then a flyer to promote it to finally make a podcast inviting tourists to visit that landmark.
TASK 5
This week's task was evaluating technologies for teaching, what we had to do was to think of nine tools that we use at making our projects, 3 main tools that your teacher “force” you to use, 3 main tools you have discovered on this course, and you are using for completing the tasks and the 3 main tools that you used before the course, and you are using as a group. Then we have to fill the rubric given, one for each tool.
On the presentation day, we discuss some of the things that surprise us about the tools, and we also had to design a method to mark the apps out of 6 six stars, with the rubrics we completed.
TASK 6
This week we had to design and make our own Game- Based Networked Learning. We had to focus the game on one of the Assessment Criteria from the Spanish curriculum.
On the presentation day, the star of our group explained our game to one of the other groups and the play it.
TASK 7
This week we had to explore task with digitals, computational thinking and coding. We had to use "The Hour of code" webpage to discover new ways to make children from Primary Education be more into coding and computational thinking in a amusing way.
We had to collect all the information about it, our experience, an interview from another group, ours reflections, etc, to then put all together on a podcast. You can listen to our podcast on the purple box below.
TASK 8
This week we had to make a PLE diagram about our expience working with the different tools that we use in this course. The main objetve is to do a reflection between the members of the group about the uses of this tool talking about the devices the spaces or how we access to the tool
On the presentation of our PLE our star talk about the difference that we found in our uses, and also classify this tool in three different elements ( Access and decode-Recreative Knownledge -Discuss)
TASK 9-
In this task we will explore the concept of Digital Teaching Concept, During this week we had to develop an infographic explaining the main elements of DTC and to establish relations between these elements and other kinds of elements that are also part of the educational process.
Once the infographic was prepared, the task had to be presented in pairs. This presentation was given to our colleagues from other groups in speed learning format.
