Standard 7 - Assessment – The competent teacher understands and uses appropriate formative and summative assessments for determining student needs, monitoring student progress, measuring student growth, and evaluating student outcomes. The teacher makes decisions driven by data about curricular and instructional effectiveness and adjusts practices to meet the needs of each student.
Chapter 10 Analysis and Summary Chapter 10 Quiz
I created the quiz using Google Forms and using Google Forms allowed me to be able to email the link to 12 people so they can use their knowledge to participate in this activity. I only had 10 people to who were available to participate in order for me to complete my grading and analysis. Google supplied me with different tools that I needed to evaluate their performance. With these tools I was able to assess each student and their strength and weaknesses.
I will be using Google Forms as a formal and informal assessment to evaluate my students progress in my classroom. understand I that this assignment has given my information that will allow me to keep documentation of my students performance and I will be able to focus on their struggles. This will help me plan lessons around the needs and allow my students to succeed in every area.
