Feb 2023:
For the February 2023 membership drive, our goals are to:
get the word out about the urgent need to increase active participation in PTA leadership roles
grow our membership base to a modest 90-member strong PTA this school year
continue to increase adoption of our ‘all digital’ membership and its annual auto-renewal feature using the JoinTotem PTA Portal link.
Notably problematic in this effort has been a reliable per class/teacher/student measure for class competitions. Therefore, our secondary goal is to increase the data quality in our member list's child(ren)’s name & current teacher name for purposes of measuring PTA participation per class.
As incentive to join or update your member data right now, you will be immediately entered into random drawings for Target gift cards ($15 value & $25 value, two of each/four total) throughout the month if you are fully registered digitally by our 5 pm deadline each Friday starting the third week in February. We will contact you using your registration information if you are picked, so please be sure to update your PTA membership information from last year and include your child(ren)’s name & current teacher name.
At the end of February, we will do a head count per classroom, and award pizza parties for the two classes with the most active PTA participation according to our membership database.

We are currently at 76 active PTA members as of 02/15/2022.
For our October 2022 membership drive, our goal is to increase adoption of our ‘all digital’ membership and its annual auto-renewal feature using the JoinTotem PTA Portal. We hope to grow to a modest 90-member strong PTA this school year. We are currently at just 43 active members as of 9/30/2022.
As incentive to act now, you will be immediately entered into a random drawing for a Kelly Karnival kid’s carnival game bracelet ($10 value) if you are fully registered digitally by our 5 pm deadline each Friday for the first three weeks in October. The cutoffs are Oct 7, Oct 14, Oct 21 5pm each Friday. We will contact you using your registration information if you are picked, so please be sure to update your PTA membership information from last year and include your child(ren)’s name & current teacher name.

Sept 2022 update:
Thomas Kelly Elementary PTA Membership
As of Sept 2022, 43 members joined PTA in school year 2022-2023.
42% of our 43 members joined using the Auto-renewal feature built into the JoinTotem membership portal.
Our Membership is growing at a faster pace compared to our first “digital” membership year 2021-2022 baseline year.

Increase to a 90-member strong PTA by the end of the school year (compared to 70 members in the prior year).
Progress: We currently have 43 members!
Increase the proportion of members that sign up using our new digital membership portal option (JoinTotem), its auto-renewal features and the digital distribution of membership cards.

In 2021/2022, our baseline year, half our members (35 people) utilized the all-digital signup option. In 2022/2023 (so far Sept 2022) 42% (of 43) utilized auto-renewal.

We are currently a 70 member strong PTA for the 2021/22 school year as of May 2022. Half our members joined using our new all digital online membership portal within the JoinTotem application.
Our goals :
a 90 member PTA by the end of the school year, if possible
promote the all digital membership portal sign up option and phase out the paper based option
