"JIGYASA" is an innovative initiative by the Council of Scientific & Industrial Research (CSIR) under the Ministry of Science & Technology, Government of India. The event will feature:

*Interactive scientific presentations by CSIR-CGCRI scientists

*Live demonstrations of indigenous technologies

*Hands-on experiments in glass and ceramics

*A science quiz to inspire budding talents toward scientific careers

Participation Criteria: Students of Class IX-XII (Science Background)

1. For Quiz (Basic Science): Classes IX-X (New X): 2 students/School

1st: Memari Crystal Model School 

2nd: Sadya High School 

3rd: Memari V.M. Institution Unit-2 

2. For Live demonstrations of indigenous technologies (any scientific approach): 1 Model with 2 students)/School

1st: Joteram Vidyapith High School (Kartick Pakray & Prasun Mondal)

2nd: Memari Crystal Model School (Swarnava Chowdhury & Sambuddha Roychowdhury)

3rd: Burdwan Municipal Girls' High School (Atifa Sultana & Bithika Chakraborty) and Mithapur Sree Durga High School (Arindam Mandal & Kabita Biswas)

3. For Interactive sessions: Students and CSIR-CGCRI scientists: Maximum 30 students/School (depending on total capacity of Hall)
