Dr. Douglas Schulz

I am a lecturer in Sociology and Criminology at the University of Bradford, where my research focuses on identity, belonging, and cultural expression. Much of my research explores how people express themelves through music and subcultre, particularly within heavy metal music scenes. More recently, my interests have expanded into the world of tattooing and body modification, especially the ways that people use their bodies as canvases to express their identity, heritage, and personal histories.

Dr. M. Sudhir Selvaraj

I am an assistant professor in the Department of Peace Studies and International Development. One of my interests lie in how creative practices can be used in teaching and research. My recent projects centre around the wonderful city of Bradford.
