The Punishment Commission, Justin Smith, Joe DiGrazio, and myself the commissioner, Joseph Trimarco have coordinated with the reigning 1-12 sacko, Eric Williams. He plans to complete his day long bar trip 8/8 or 8/22 this year. He will attend the bar at 10am when it opens and must stay there until they close at 2am. Half hour increments will be deducted from his exit time for every beverage consumed (this includes cocktails, drafts, bottles, cans, and straight liquor shots only). The league will split the bar tab for his drinks only. Photo evidence of his arrival, departure, and receipt must be acquired in order to validate punishment. At any moment a fellow league member may pop in and visit Eric.
More details will follow.
For 2026:
The Rules Commission, David St. Leger, Nick DiGrazio, and myself the commissioner, Joseph Trimarco, have passed these new rule changes.
The maximum number of WRs one may roster has been increased from 6 to 7.
The maximum number of QBs one may roster has been decreased from 4 to 3.
Every playoff team's owner will have their free agent auction budget reset to $30 at the conclusion of the regular season.
Rules Changes Explained:
The maximum number of WRs one may roster has been increased from 6 to 7.
This is to promote more flexibility for rosters and trades. The 5 RB/WRs + the 7 bench slots also better fit our roster construction. The implementation of different strategies can be easier achieved with this change.
The maximum number of QBs one may roster has been decreased from 4 to 3.
The change is in line with the change I made last season in lowering the defense/special team limits. This disincentivizes hoarding of the QB position and limits the ability to block your opponent from fielding a legal roster.
Every playoff team's owner will have their free agent auction budget reset to $30 at the conclusion of the regular season.
This change immensely promotes usage of your FAAB budget. Good teams do not need to forgo participating in auctions late into the season to garner a FAAB advantage in the playoffs. Teams that do participate and get into the playoffs are rewarded by having their FAAB reset while the teams who do not spend are punished for sitting on their money. Make playoffs much more strategic and interesting having everyone start with the same amount from the beginning. Trades between teams with good records to teams with bad record involving FAAB become more possible. Good teams can bolster their rosters without fear of losing FAAB advantage later. Win-win-win for everyone.
