Dear Tauke Najwa,
I’ve been developing an interest in crochet and knitting ever since I got stuck at home. Therefore, I was quite attracted to the talk at first glance of its topic. I found your journey of establishing your hand-dyed yarn business really fascinating and cool. From the talk, I have learned that the introverted personality is not an excuse for one to start out the business or to reach the community out there. You have shown your courage and determination of doing whatever that you are passionate about. Despite all the challenges you encountered, you never gave up and kept looking for ways to overcome them. At the same time, you mentioned that a short break is necessary whenever we get tired of something. Overall, the biggest lesson that I noticed from your sharing is that life can be like yarn dyeing. We wouldn’t know the outcome at the moment the colours are added to the yarn. It’s just the same as our life journey. Things can come unexpected, but it shouldn’t stop us from exploring and taking risks to discover the uncertainty, learn from trying and failing. At the end of the day, hopefully we will see the best result. Cheers!
Dear Tauke Hui Ming,
I still remember that the first time I met your brand was at an event held in Publika in 2014. I was attracted by the name of your brand, Fatbaby, which sounds cute and a little evil.
I am very happy to meet you again on the Tauke Talks platform. After listening to your talk, I was deeply inspired by your entrepreneurial spirit. Your persistence and willingness to step out of your comfort zone have made Fatbaby today. Besides, your cherishment and pride for the team showed me the successful future of your brand.
Recently, I am very confused and afraid of my future, and have no motivation to work. After listening to your speech, I finally found a trace of motivation for life. I hope to redefine my comfort zone and escape from it. I am also an introvert, but you show me a glimmer of hope on the journey to become an entrepreneur. Thank you for the enlightenment, I am now finding a way to differentiate myself from the rest and have consistency in what I do.
I understand the socioeconomic impact of COVID-19, and I hope and believe that you can survive the impact of this pandemic. As my dad often tells me in Chinese, the word "crisis" in Chinese consists of two characters (危机), one representing danger and the other representing opportunity. Last but not least, Fatbaby can crawl even if they fall.

Dear Tauke Erica,
Thank you for the insightful talk. Your words of ‘Why study for an exam when you can play for it?’ struck a chord in me. I was once a slow learner who struggled for exams. I am glad to see students nowadays have the golden opportunity to learn through exciting games and comics at ACE Edventure. How I wish I could have the fun too! From your talk, I learnt that the cutting-edge education system could be a double edge sword, albeit engaging students’ interest, it brings pushback from some parents too. I will always remember it is the authenticity that wins the audience. Sales and marketing are crucial for sustainability; however, we shall not deem the audience as ATM, but make sure they walk away with values. This helps in branding and bonding that brings continuity sales in the future.
As a medical student with a special interest in psychiatry, I have been advocating for mental health awareness through creative art and writings. I will further pursue my teaching journey for children with special needs by creating educative content tailored for their needs. I believe everyone is unique in their way. The education system would ensure they gain holistic development mentally and physically, and also be skillful to work with dignity upon graduation.
Thank you for reminding me again that learning is fun and the spirit of learning shall not be killed in school!
Dear Tauke Charlie,
First of all, thank you for such an inspiring Tauke Talks. Your journey from selling spoons in Bangsar to a successful entrepreneur is an amazing story to share with the youngsters nowadays. I can see your passion to create great food for the people through your talks. I love how you only focus on a few food in your selling menu as I truly believe in quality is better than quantity. Also, your restaurant has a great atmosphere. It is nice to see so many wonderful stories of Malaysia just by looking at the wall of your café. Besides, the one thing that really inspires me is how you serve the community! Thank you for giving something to the community constantly (not just during this pandemic period)! It is rare to see entrepreneurs to give something back to the community rather than just focusing on making profits. I would like to represent the community to thank you for all the hard works and efforts you have done for the past 5 years. Moreover, a huge thank you to the woman behind your successful business (your wife) for cooking and baking all the amazing food and pastries. Your children are very lucky and blessed as you have lots of time to spend with them and I hope your 4 children will grow healthy. Last but not least, I wish that you can still continue whatever you are doing right now to motivate and inspires more youngsters to become a great entrepreneur!

Dear Tauke Kok Yoong,
After watching your Tauke Talks episode, your ambition to start a maker’s café inspires me to find my own purpose in life. I can see that even though opening up a maker’s café was a challenging task to uphold, you and your team managed to do so through sheer determination and passion for the things you guys love to do. That value is something that a lot of youngsters should take note of when it comes to committing something for life. Not only that, but I appreciate what you and your team have done to bring such a game-changing technology into the creative industry here in Malaysia.
Kok Yoong, your characteristics as a humble and innovative educator in the maker and fabrication industry has impacted Malaysia in ways that revolutionizes how designers like me, are able to bring our designs to life through digital fabrication. Your value to continuously learn and share that self-taught knowledge to students from various age groups is what I feel, keeps both industries alive and thriving. I genuinely feel inspired by what you do and how you handle the challenges faced during the pandemic, as it showed that even though it was rough, you and your team managed to face it heads on by improvising as you move along. Honestly, that requires a lot of bravery and that is something I can learn from you as an aspiring designer. I hope to be able to visit your café someday. :)

Dear Tauke Maggie,
Dear Tauke Xin Yu,

Dear Tauke Hui Ming,
hearing your tauke talks really inspired me. The way you start a f&b business from scratch without any experience in the field, that courage was really inspiring despite you think of it as being naive. Although currently i have no interest to start a f&b business, but hearing your f&b journey gave me a big insight about business or simply about life, like the way you just went and ask other f&b owner for advice. It just remind us sometimes we just have to ask, not everyone is like cutthroat or selfish, they might give you some really important information to start your journey. You mention that your business went 6 months without revenue but you still kept on going, that perseverance is admirable.Overall, i think that you follow your heart because before starting this f&b journey you had a stable job but you thought that there must be something more and took the risk and started your own business. I am not one to judge other people's life, but i think most people do not follow their heart, they just carry on with life...you just remind us we can always make a choices to live the way we want and better... and thank you for reading all this. I hope you like my illustration about fatbaby, and wish you all the best and kept on going strong.
Dear Tauke John,
Hi, I am Claudia. I hail from the sky of the cat city, Kuching. I had fun listening to your Tauke Talks with RYSE. I got confused for a while as I searched for more information on Sixty Bites, only to realise it had rebranded to Morbites. I enjoyed listening to how you and your partner started your journey with Sixty Bites as loyal customers. You guys saw and gave the chef the needed hand in his booming career so that more people can enjoy good burgers. I can imagine the relief of the chef knowing customers would not have to wait for hours for their orders. I had never eaten one of your burgers before (due to location). Still, I genuinely drool from your descriptions of the burgers. Perhaps one day I could try one of your burgers *drools. Thank you for sharing good food with the people. To end off, I hope Morbites grow bigger and stronger and maybe become like Jollibee.~
