Dear Tauke Wai Yan,
YOU INSPIRED ME! And you’re amazing!
Dear Tauke Jenny,

Dear Tauke Maggie,
As an art student majoring in interior design, I find that working in the art and design industry is very hard and sometimes depressing. Therefore, I really admire how courageous you were to make the decision to quit a stable job and start your own art business which is a completely different profession from what you graduated from. You really inspire me to not give up because now that I know there’s a person like you willing to take the risk to do what you are passionate about. I really appreciate the effort and energy you put into your art business and especially the art industry in Malaysia which inspires me to go further. Through your tauke talk, I learnt that even if things don’t work out sometimes, I can look things at another angle or pivot the way that I do things to keep things going, especially when I’m stuck with ideas or any other problems. Like there’s no exact right or wrong answers in art and design, it’s just the way that we expressed it. If you ever face any challenges or obstacles in the future, I just want to remind you that you’ve already come a long and go through many of the challenges you faced in the past, I believe that you would find a way to overcome and make things better. Looking forward to seeing many more of your works and workshops from you and your studio.
Dear Tauke Ling,

Dear Tauke Pei Shern,
I really like your tauke talk session, especially the part when you talk about copycats. Copycats are annoying, yet the way you handle it is so professional. I find the line you said “My brand is me” so cool. It’s short but powerful in the scenario of producing our own goods. I think our personality and uniqueness are often reflected in our products. I can feel your outgoing and forever young aura whenever I see your designs. Honestly, I really like your designs and they resonate with my style, but sadly I cannot wear revealing clothes. I recently started to learn sewing from my mom for the sake of my future survival. I never plan to make and sell clothes because I am aiming to work in a field not related to fashion. I do have interest in making and selling goods, but definitely not making wearables. When I want to start a business in the future, I’ll watch your tauke talk again to get confidence because the lines “they are not you, they will never be you” and “copycats are always a step behind” give me an emotional boost, although I am not doing any business at the moment. This line is applicable in various contexts. This session really inspires me to not be afraid of copycats in any situations. I hope your confidence will be contagious forever. Lastly, I hope your business will keep growing and have a wider range of clothing. Best of luck!
Dear Tauke Edmond,
Hello, my name is Claudia. I hail from the sky of the cat city, Kuching. I enjoyed listening to your Tauke Talks with RYSE. First, I would like to mention that I adore the name Smolpotato :). It is admirable and motivating to hear how you and your wife dealt with the pandemic's obstacles. It was lovely listening to how you guys overcame some of the challenges, such as finding ways to lessen unhappiness by focusing on helping others. I could use that two cents in my own life. I like that Smolpotato's intentions are to encourage neighbour-help-neighbour movement while helping reduce waste. I also adore how you encourage people to graduate from a smol potato to a BIG POTATO. I have gained a little more insight, and my brain grew a little bigger after listening to the interview. I am not the best at expressing my thoughts, so I hope I have done this message some justice. I would like to end this message by saying thank you so mochi to you guys~ for I am sure Smolpotato has helped many during hard times. I hope you guys continue to grow to be a BIG POTATO.

Dear Tauke Ezzati,
First of all, I on behalf of Malaysian really appreciate your effort to “teman” our loved one during hard time.
I am really impressed with your concept of business because from my point of view, your business benefit all parties including the Temanion, the client and their loved one. The idea also genuinely straight forward which is to be a companion to our loved one when we can’t be there for them. Plus, the idea comply with current era which is quite challenging to balance our time between family and work.
I also amazed with your courage to start this kind of business, the way how you recruit the youth to be a Temanion, how you approach society with this fresh idea and the financial management. I assumed that you have a hard time started your business because you don’t have any business model canvas to refer on. But you still manage to expand your business to other states and its really inspire me to keep fighting on what I do.
As a conclusion, I am really admire your tremendous idea of business to assist people in need. By having Teman Malaysia as a option is like having a plan B when our plan A doesn’t enough to fulfil our loved one needs. I hope your business will getting bigger over time and provide many more services so that more people can utilise your services in the future and definitely will make Malaysia a harmony country.
Dear Tauke Eva,
Hi Tauke Eva. How are you? I hope you and your business are doing well. First and foremost, thank you for such an inspiring talk at Tauke Talks. I really enjoyed listening and watching your talk. It is amazing that you have a day job and this small business together and it has taught me that nothing is impossible. I was very inspired and motivated by your talk about your business and motivational words. Your answer to the question, “Do you think young people should start their own business” was the most memorable and inspiring to me. “If not now, when?”, “There is no such thing as perfect timing”, and “If you fail, try again”. These words are such inspiring words from you that have made me feel something and these motivational words were very striking to me. This has really opened up my mind about starting up a business one day and you have inspired me to slowly think about starting off a small business as there is no perfect timing. Thank you for being such an inspiring entrepreneur and I wish the best for you and your business!

Dear Tauke Wai Yan,
Dear Tauke Maggie,
Hi Maggie, I hope that you are safe and healthy. I just want to say that I really enjoyed listening to your Tauke talks session. I felt so inspired after listening to your story. I really like the way you approach art, and also the way you think what art is, and I agree. I think art can be anything you imagine, like you said "the frog doesn't have to be green, it can be orange or blue in color". And by the way, I really like when you said "I want to be my own Boss". I find that so savage, haha. Although I haven't even graduate yet, but I can already tell how the work life in the industry feels like. But you are right, sometimes we cannot 'tahan' how our bosses do things, and they really get on your nerves, and it's time that we become our own boss. Finally, I wanted to say thank you so much for your hard work and dedication, and I wish for the very best in your business.
And last thing I want to say is I hope your mental health is OK, and I know work can be hard and tiring but do please rest more and drink plenty of water. Stay safe and healthy in these difficult times. I pray for your success and your health, all the best. God Bless.
From Jia Qing.
