Diddle rudiments are patterns that contain paradiddles in some way or another. See Lesson 4: Paradiddles for more info.
Hybrid rudiments containing flams and diddles are grouped with flam rudiments. Similarly, those containing drags and diddles are grouped with drag rudiments.
Two single strokes followed by a diddle.
"PA-ra-diddle, PA-ra-did-dle"
Four alternating single strokes followed by a diddle. Only the first stroke is accented.
"DOU-ble pa-ra-diddle, DOU-ble pa-ra-did-dle"
Three single strokes followed by a diddle. Again, only the first stroke is accented.
"IT'S a tri-ple pa-ra-diddle, IT's a tri-ple pa-ra-did-dle"
Two alternating single strokes followed by two diddles.
"PA-ra-did-dle-did-dle, PA-ra-did-dle-did-dle"
