Rudiments

Rudiments are a set of foundational rhythmic patterns for percussion. There are 40 standard rudiments that have been adopted by the Percussive Arts Society.

Thankfully, many rudiments actually SOUND like their name when played. These pages provide lyrics that can be used as helpful memory tricks (mnemonics) to learn all 40 rudiments! Can you memorize them all?
