Shedu Novice Diploma
SHEDU NOVICE DIPLOMA!?
Each handler with a Shedu Novice Diploma (or SND) gets benefits. Depending on which Diploma Course you select you get..
+1 Handler Trait
+1 AP to cats you train in training art/ literature
+ 5-15 points RNG to your show scores
+ RDs and / or a SND Shedu!
As of APRIL 2022 all members may choose to redeem their RDs* for ;
a Shedu from the SND POOL up to THREE times PER YEAR.
Player HAS to include the number of SND Shedus they have requested for that year such as ; 2/3.
*RDs amount available for use is ONLY that of which has been earned by that Character for their singular completion of the SND, not your total Banked RDs.
Okay but… this looks super complicated. So How do I Do it?!
Easy peasy lemon-breezy!
Step One: Look at the SND Journal and find a Trait that you like.
Each listed cat on the Journal has a different reward! But they also have different requirements. There are a total of 11 traits you can choose from. Not sure what a trait does? Have no fear! They’re all available here with their benefits!
Got a trait you like? Excellent! Let’s look at the steps for the SND Now!
Step Two: Drawing the Requirements ( or writing them! )
Check out the requirements for your Trait / Cat!
Artwork must be full body with your handler fully visible, colored, shaded and with some sort of background.
Or between 1200 words to 3600 words of literature piece.
-(meaning that each picture equals 600 words of literature piece. Literature can be one solid text, if desired)
OERS Cats are official. These guys are for the ‘classes’ your Handler is going through hosted by Elseviers Themselves. This means you’re doing things the legal way!
MENDOZA Cats are streetbred. These guys aren’t teaching you anything. They’re just here to test you in being able to handle the cat! You’ll get a ‘forged’ version on the SND paperwork. This is just story flare though!
I’m going to use ANIT for this Walk Through, but you can use ANY cat you like from the list!
ANIT requires 5 images or 3600 words in literature. So I’ll need to do all five prompts for my SND.
Cats with less image requirements can do any of the prompts you like from the list.

But what are these prompts!?
The prompts are the Training Activities that your handler will go through to earn their SND. These are tasks that your handler would need to know in order to handle a shedu cat! They include Meeting the cat you'll be training with, Leading (learning to lead the cat) Grooming (learning to groom shedus) Riding (learning to ride) and Racing your Foster cat for the first time!

Step Three: Submitting your SND
Once you’ve finished your required art/ stories for the prompt you go to the SND log and post a comment with all the required links & information. The SND Staff will get back to you with any corrections (hopefully none!) or your new spiffy certificate and traits!

For completing the SND you can also earn RDs ( Rockport Dollars ) our in-game currency! These RDs can be used to buy a shedu from the SND Pool! You don’t have to though, you can choose to save your RDs straight to the bank if you like!
