The origins of the Pokrishkin Line has always been under great scrutiny - the likely ‘official’ ancestor came from the Spartak Line but opinion is divided about the solidarity of such a claim (considering all modern shedu cats are descended from Spartak).
Although purists might discourage associating themselves with this Line or breed from individuals with a ‘blemished’ lineage, others in the Shedu community are less standoffish and breed from Pokrishkin stock for their workable character and overall versatility in regards to disciplines - the bright and vibrant colours such as their signature fiery orange brown or saturated chocolate tan have been increasing in popularity.
