To Dream is to Believe, and to Believe is to make imagination reality...

The streets were lined with bright, colored posters and spotlights flashed in the distance. The circus was in town and all of the citizens were crowding into the colorful tent of wonders and curiosities. Tatsu and his younger brother Oliver lurked around the outside of the tent, peering in excitedly. The stadiums were full and loud chattering echoed from inside. The ticket stand closed its doors and flipped their sign to “closed”. The show had sold out, but that wouldn’t stop Tatsu and Oliver.

The two siblings squeezed in between the colorful cloth and snuck around to a space between the seats. They gazed in wonder at the color and bizarreness of the show. Actors in the center of the ring were performing an elaborate puppet show, their white chalky faces with dark painted eye makeup formed curious expressions. Elephants dressed in bright blankets danced and trumpeted around the edge of the ring while acrobats on white horses weaved in between them. The ringmaster, who wore a rich black coat, white tights, and knee high boot, shouted loudly from a platform in the center of the ring.

Tatsu and Oliver watched in curiosity as they were captivated by the dazzling show. Laughter and applause redoubled from the audience and became tempestuous, merriment and maddening, A surge of joy filled Tatsu as he stared at the amazing spectacle, his brother grin wide from ear to ear. What a marvelous show, what great happiness, such unknown contentment... What a beautiful life....

Years after, the memory of this spectacle stayed vivid in Tatsu’s mind. When he married into a wealthy family and began raising Asian shedu cats, the upcoming of Byakuren (Tatsu first shedu cat, a pale, yet beautiful Asian beast that features resembled that of a gargle) and Oji (The first of its kind sphynx silky with split pale face and gazelle-esk under stomach) he suddenly realized that with his newfound fortune.

His clown breed of bizarre Asians could finally be created.  His dreams could now be realized...
