Local high school student Maddy D. designed and built the Little Free Library located at The Nest as part of her Girl Scout Gold Award. Her passion is to spread literacy to children and readers of all ages, and thus she collected books, solicited the help of many local organizations, and created this opportunity for free books in the heart of Middletown.

The Scotts are the hosts of the library and accept book donations year round: board books, children's picture books, chapter books for all ages.
