Transnational Affairs
A lot of map work has been done since the start of the world. The creation of the world map has been gradually going, with the playerbase largely working together to create it, although some nations have chosen to keep their map info a secret. Claims have not yet been posted at the writing of this article, neither for Laurentia, nor (to my information), for any other nation.
A github for CivReign has been created, as seen here. This map will no doubt grow to be extremely useful, like on past servers, and will likely have claims appear over time.

The server is largely still in the SOTW phase, where most nations focus on internal development. The hunt for aquanethers has been prevalent, to develop and gain wealth for all countries. No claims for any state have been posted yet. A number of restarts and hotfixes were posted on the 27th, however, fixing numerous problems with the server, including randomspawn and (hopefully) the spawnrate of animals.
Domestic Affairs
A brief but intense religious war had broken out in Laurentia on the 26th. Player Pandastical had been walking when he noticed that the Eternal Burning Tree, which had been lit prior, was missing. Upon realizing that it was player Potato_Duke (Discord, Potato_King), he grew enraged, and after a brief chase, killed the player in front of Zhirall.
Peace seemed to come, until Potato_Duke defased the monument of Forg, a diety in the middle of Laurentia. This caused another killing of him by Pandastical, until he was forced to clean up some of his defasement.
Potato_Duke soon got help, however, when Courlandian arkenX walked by. Thinking that Pandastical was a raider, they engaged in combat. But Pandastical killed arkenX, and then again Potato_Duke, and peace seemingly prevailed again. Until Potato_Duke then attacked Pandastical as he was chopping down a tree. Due to a lack of a bed or spawnpoint, Pandastical was teleported many thousands of blocks away, and had to trek through a mesa to again arrive at Laurentia. During this time, the two would insult and threaten each other ceaselessly.
Conflict did not re-commence upon his return, however. The two would go on a voyage through the ocean, until reaching an island named Islasu which, in their faith, is the start of the universe. There, where their god once created the first landmass in the world, the two made peace with one each other, and founded the Brotherhood of Axolotl, to ensure peace in their faith.

The first series of official decrees came out from the Laurentian Grand Council. A website was created, which can be found here. Along with an appreciated shoutout to the Laurentian Dispatch, it contained the first decree past by the Grand Council.
This first ever decree passed stated standards and ownerships of various Laurentian namelayers. Due to a need of ores, wool, and wheat, only people who 'contributed the most' could take them from Laurentian storehouses. An emphasis was put for all citizens to harvest the wheat farm, which was repaired after being griefed by Potato_King, who had his citizenship removed, and was given a temporary ban from Laurentian territory. Although, where exactly that is can be debated, as claims have not been posted.
Zhirall gave this quote to explain the actions. "Our nation is built around the core value of cooperation. It is through cooperation that we have been able to explore the entire continent, creating factors that benefit all. On an international level, it is through cooperation that we have access to the Aqua Nether. I think it is really important that all citizens participate in this collaborative effort."
