Maps Everywhere!
Maps everyone, maps! They're here they're here, hoorah!
Indeed, a plethora of maps have popped up recently. Many nations have released their claims publicly, several on an amazing global map created by KingoftheMochas, which has become the basis of a great many claim-announcements. It came shortly after an amusing Civballs map, created by JohnCats. I, and undoubtedly many others, are very pleased to see the abundance of claims maps. No doubt there will be more soon.

Below; My rough claims map based on public claims known to me as of this edition's publishing. Sorry to the Gamer Empire, as I am unsure where to place them. It is not a complete map, nor is it trying to be! However, if anyone would like their nation included for a future issue, feel free to message me at Mat#5050. Please also not that the accuracy is not 100%.
Founding of the CIA
Player ThePayman started the 'CIA', or the CivReign Infrastructure Alliance. This organization promises to connect the world through rails, tunnels, and other infrastructure. It's three initial goals were to finish a horse tunnel between the eaastern and western continents, make an intercontinental rail, and make all mining information public, eventually including the locations of Aquanethers.
Build Showcase!
I'm overjoyed to again show off more awesome builds! Great job everyone!

Meemai Enters the Doge Election!
Baron Meemai has officially entered the election. Asgeir supported them, and strangely, so did the other candidate, Bstallio. While Bstallio is currently still in the race, he has floated the idea of dropping out. For now however, he is still running, nominated by Zhirall and Cupar.
Meemai has been a massive force within the nation. Much of the industralization and mining has been conducted by them. Additionally, Meemai has become something of a military hero, playing vital parts in both the Raid of Serena, and with the Rogue Courronite Incident. Their success in the election will be seen, however, the outcome is predicted to be close.
The election will be open from the 18th to the 20th of March. A QnA for candidate has already been posted, open to all Laurentian citizens.

Rogue Courronite Attacks Laurentia!
A citizen of Courron attacked Laurentia on the 15th of March. The assault came as a surprise, as Courron has explicitly been a Laurentian ally. However, Regent of the Duke Oracaidum (second-in-command at Courron) assured the Dispatch that this attacker was a rogue agent, whose agents were unsanctioned by the state. He and Doge Cuppy I, victim of the attack, provided details for the following story, along with other Laurentians.
According to Laurentian nobleman Meemai, on the 14th, Associate01 initially arrived within Laurentia. He claimed to be an Ambassador of Courron (a false claim that he later said was to 'avoid suspicion') and merely looked around the state. THe purposes for this visit would later be explained as spying on Laurentia, who he saw as 'sneaky', despite the alliance between Laurentia and Courron.
On March 15th he returned, and stole Doge Cupar ('Cuppy')'s horse. While Cupar was in the Laurentian bunker, Associate01 repeatedly asked for food, which the Doge provided. He then asked for the Doge's armor and, following that, shot a bow at the Doge.
Associate01 fled Cupar after the attack, he fled from the Doge, and killed both Aethenia and Lunaacatt, more Laurentian citizens. Eventually he was ordered to stand down by Oracaidum, and found by Meemai, another Laurentian. Despite taking off his armor and asking for an 'honourable naked fist fight", he was then killed and pearled by Meemai. In return for the attack, Courron gave Laurentia all of the rogue's gear as a reparation. He is no longer a Courronite citizen, and will be held on trial in Laurentia at a date TBD. One of his judges will be one of his victims, Lunaacatt.

Laurentia Backtracks on Financial Policy
The Laurentian government backtracked it's trade decisions, getting rid of it's 4:1 trade floor. The official press statement apologized for the previous policy, for any negative effects it had, and for acting too hostile. After seeing new information, the government changed the exchange-floor to a 6:1 copper:tin ratio.
