About Us
The Jackdaws are a family of outcasts, coming together out of a desire to protect the vulnerable and give a chance to the misfortunate. We are a found family, with the struggles a family may have - but also the protection and comfort of one, with our members blind to the borders of the Horde or the Alliance. Together, we explore the world of Azeroth, making camp where our expeditions may need us most, or simply where the guild wishes to be. Instead of acting as some sort of hierarchy, the guild decides together what their choices will be, or act individually if they are convicted enough.
We pride ourselves on our community and members, and each of our guild's characters have a chance of developing their own personal storylines - with each member allowed to DM their own plots to help build the overarching story of the guild. We believe this gives life to the guild, and lets people portray their characters on a deeper, more meaningful level, as well as be a fundamental part to our story.

The guild explores personally DM'd storylines where each individual characters actions have meaning that echos throughout the rest of the story and even other stories happening at the same time, creating interweaving plots that are constantly shifting in reaction to how your characters face their problems. Each Saturday we gather for our main campaign nights, but even if you cannot attend those, there is always something to do.

The Jackdaws feature near daily roleplay among its members across various hubs and crannies across Azeroth, where there is always something going on. Whether it's friendly spars, games, debates, or even encounters with antagonists or allies alike - you never expect how a night may end, even the calmest of evenings. We feature a dedicated channel for asking for roleplay whenever you feel like it, but also a happenings channel where you can emote your character's off-screen actions that other characters might see!

Unshackled by the bounds of Alliance or Horde, the Jackdaws feature a diverse cast of characters in its ranks. We are a found family, united in our desire to both find a place where we belong as well as giving a chance of justice and peace to others, when many of our members had never been given that chance of their own when they truly needed it. Not only do we run adventure campaigns, but individual characters can have their own stories to explore - even yours!

The Jackdaws are more than just a guild, but a community ran by friends for friends. We have a healthy meme culture, with a dedicated channel in our Discord for shitposting about each others characters. Weekly movie nights, where we vote on what to watch - and if we accidentally tie the vote, we must watch Cats 2019. As well as game nights, discussions, and more. We are an active community, both in and out of character.
