The Jackdaws are known to be working in Silverpine, with a heavy presence there. They seem to be focussed on a worgen problem, with their leader Lleuwen seeking adventurers willing to help capture a feral pack loose in the area - as well as seeking support on druidic rituals of balance. Perhaps your character has heard about this, and seeks to help in some way - or a druid may have advice for the ritual, or a worgen experience.

Every Tuesday a public market event is held, with plenty of faces across the realm present. Almost every single week, the Jackdaws gather there for supply runs or to simply socialise. Perhaps your character has seen them around, or they simply wish to go to the market and bump into the Jackdaws by happenstance.

From games to markets, Booty Bay has anything someone not particularly worried about morals could possibly want. Perhaps your character simply wants to partake in pirate culture and bump into the Jackdaws by happenstance, or perhaps they heard that the group gathers there almost weekly on Wednesdays to play drinking games or spar?

Stormwind is a popular destination for those milling about the world, and the Jackdaws too can be found there, whether they're working more secretively or simply enjoying the social life and events. Plenty of its members can be known for wandering the city.

Orgimmar, home of honour and orc's - and home to some of the Jackdaws, too. Their members may have been sighted at the markets there, or simply enjoying ale in the tavern. While the city is much quieter than Stormwind - the Jackdaws make what excitement they want when they visit. 

You could have heard people talking about a spider, consisting out of purple energies, lurking around towns and villages in Silverpine and Gilneas - usually disappearing faster than anyone would be able to approach it or take a better look on it.

Some of Jackdaws could be noticed around those lands, maybe they have heard something too?

A young mag'har orc blademaster, dressed in a mix of traditional orc and vulpera style, could often be noticed at Booty Bay and Duskwood, offering his bone carver services & taking bounty hunter contracts - seemingly the most interested in the ones against warlocks, Void using ones specially

Rumours could be heard that he and some of the Meridian Edict members, who later joined Jackdaws, have had a feud with him. Some of the people could also recall him having a different sword months before - a lot more ancient than the current one and infused with Spirit energies.

Years ago, a kaldorei researcher Nynoliel Bessa'Belorei has published a book, where he has mentioned taunka tribe, who were in contact with non-Scourge friendly nerubians. He couldn't find anything related to that - but the rumours say that Meridian Edict went further in that to unravel that mystery.

Some of Meridian Edict members have ended up joining Jackdaws, could they know anything about that?

The name 'Anastasia Moroi' may be familiar to some, once belonging to a kind doctor in Duskwood who offered her work for almost free - ...almost. Rumours spread, claims of entrapment in hidden debts - claims of hemomancy being used to control people. However, nothing was ever proven. 

December of year 42 (2024), she suddenly fell silent. Her Clinic reduced to rubble. Rumours had spread of the Jackdaws' opposition to her... could they be behind her destruction?

Only a few years ago, a quel'dorei named Seraryn Roseclaw was viciously stabbed to death in her own home, still just a teenager at the time of her death. The news of the attack spread through the streets, with some theorising it was her boyfriend at he time, or a darker dispute.

Years later, in year 42 (2024) her killer was uncovered by an adventurer named Cawlian Wingstrider and a group named the Meridian Edict, and he was slain by them - the bounty claimed, and the case closed.

Many members of the Meridian Edict later formed the Jackdaws, and the group may be known as being associated with the case. The boyfriend however may also have been heard to be Rhaethas Ashsong - someone who has staunchy protested his innocence since, and proven to be with the claiming of the bounty.

The Meridian Edict was once a Vulpera-ran organisation, a caravan of sorts where the members explored Azeroth on expeditions, as well as ran a stall named the Solstice Bazaar at various markets. Your character may have heard of this caravan - or you might have yourself seen them around in roleplay - and know that a portion of members separated to form the Jackdaws.
