We will never ask for money to partecipate to our movement, all our events are free.
If somebody ask for money to partecipate to our events, it is a scam. Please inform us as fast as possible if it happens. Thank you.

The Global Cafe wants to create a respectful place where to confront and share ideas, cultures and stories. So, all our rules are aimed at that end.
Our community is formed by people from all over the world, with different cultures, religions and habits. All we ask for is respect.
If you don't respect others, we will ban you from our movement.
We are all volunteers, so please respect our time and our energy. We are using our free time to organize events for all the people who want to partecipate, so please be respectful. Signing up for any of our events, language courses or international meetings, is a commitment. You must respect the commitment made or, at least, let us know promptly if you can no longer participate. Failure to comply repeatedly with the commitments made is ground for expulsion.
During our events and in our chats, please keep an appropriate attitude. Sending advertising, defamatory, insulting, illegal or pornographic material will cause your immediate ban.

In order to create a safe and comfortable place for everyone, you can join our organitazion only if your age is between 14 and 25. This rule doesn't get applied to those who entered before the creation of this rule or before they got 25.

People under 18 are allowed in our organization only if they're at least 14. When a minor asks to join our organization, a parent must allow him/her. We do not take any responsability for the conduct of our members (minors in particular).

Remind that, joining The Global Cafe, you will be able to interact online with many people from different countries. We try to do our best to create a safe group, but obviously we cannot assure it actually is at 100%. We suggest to respect the basic rules of prudence on the internet: do not share personal information; do not share credit card numbers; do not share passwords. You are warned of the risks and you assume all responsibility of your online conduct on this group. This is why we don't allow children under 13: they're too young to safely interact with other people on the internet. For people between 14 and 18, we advise parents to monitor child's actions. You, parent, are warned of the risks and you assume all responsibility of your child's conduct on this online community.

We reserve the right to ban any participant when we see fit. We will inform the participant in case of expulsion. We will automatically delete all his data. Obviously we won't ban randomly; below are some possible cases:
sending advertising, defamatory, insulting, illegal or pornographic material;
insulting any participant;
repeatedly failing to respect the commitments made;
harassing other participants in any way;
proposing for marriage in order to get citizeniship;
asking somebody to find illegal ways to enter a country;
other cases of significant gravity.

We reserve the right to change these terms whenever we deem it appropriate. We will inform about the changes on our website, our Instagram profile and our WhatsApp group at least 7 days before the effettive modification. If you don't accept the new terms, please contact us and we will arrange to fix the problem. You will automatically accept the new terms if you say nothing.
Anyhow, all the changes will be made with improvement purposes and with common sense. The principal points of this terms will be manteined.
