Introduction

You always keep the control of your personal data that we store in our archive.

Data we collect

We collect:

• email;

• cell number;

• country of origin;

• name and surname;

• age;

• which languages you speak and at which level.

How do we use your data

All the personal information we store will be only used for:

• activities related to the provision of the services;

• statistical purposes (more info below).

We will never use your data for other purpose non here indicated.

Who can see your data

When you fill out the Paritcipation form, only few trustworthy people will have access to it. These people live in different part of the worlds, such as America and Europe, so your data might be seen in many different countries.

Later, you will be added to a WhatsApp group, and there all the participants will be able to see your cell number.

If you participate to our events, you might be added in a Google Classroom, and there the participants will be able to see your email and the name associated with it.

How long we store your data

We will store your data as long as you are a participant of The Global Cafe, after which they will be completely and automatically deleted.

If you join the WhatsApp group, your cell number will be permanently visible to the participants present at that moment.

You can ask the deletion of all your information that we can delete whenever you want.

Statistical purpose

We may use your country of origin, age, languages you speak and the level of them to create public statistical analysis. Obviously, all the analysis are anonymous.

WHERE WE STORE YOUR DATA

We will store your data on an online archive. We take no responsibility for any eventual fraudulent breach of our accounts. We use strong passwords to reduce the risk of fraduolent violations.

Changes of this policy

We reserve the right to change this policy whenever we deem it appropriate. We will inform about the changes on our website, our Instagram profile and our WhatsApp group at least 7 days before the effettive modification. If you don't accept the new policy, please contact us and we will arrange to fix the problem. You will automatically accept the new policy if you say nothing.

Anyhow, all the changes will be made with improvement purposes and with common sense. The principal points of this policy will be manteined and we will always respect your confidentiality.

How to ask for the deletion of your data

Your data will be automatically deleted when you decide to no longer be a participant of our organization. So, if you want your data to be deleted, just fill in the form to leave our organization (see Help center § Request of leaving).

After your request, we will delete all the Google Forms you send us, all the emails that contain your data, we will remove you from the WhatsApp group and from the Google Classroom. This is what we can do; we cannot delete your cell number from the group chat.

We will proceed with the deletion in 48 hours.

If you agree, your information will be kept for archival purpose. In this case, all your data will be manteined in an archive for an indefinite time (unless you ask for the deletion of them). You can change your choice about this whenever you want, just sending us an email. If you decide to leave our organization and you chose to mantain you data for archive purpose, they won't be automatically deleted. In this case, you have to ask for the deletion separately (see Useful information > Privacy Policy § How to ask for the deletion of your data).

So, this request is useful only if you chose to maintein your data for archival purpose. If you want to leave our organization, see Help center § Request of leaving.

After your request, we will delete all the Google Forms you send us, all the emails that contain your data, we will remove you from the WhatsApp group and from the Google Classroom. This is what we can do; we cannot delete your cell number from the group chat.
