We have one goal: to help unite the world. Barriers and borders between people never exist. To prove this, we create a community to unite people, share cultures and ideas. We want to foster global citizenship and a global mentality. We would love for you to join us in our mission.
The Global Cafe is a family. It is managed by volunteers that use their free time to organize international events. Anyone can become a member and join our global community.
All members can participate in events. To become a member, you have to fill out the Participation form found in Sign-Up. Announcements of our events will be made on our calendar under Our events > Global Events § Calendar for global events or our Instagram profile, @the.globalcafe.
We first started to organize online events in April 2020, but the thought of The Global Cafe started in December 2019.

We apologize if that happens. Everytime somebody send us a form, we should receive an email. We check our inbox on a daily basis, so if we didn't receive yours, there may have been a technical problem. In this case, send us an email to info.theglobalcafe@gmail.com , and we will fix the problem as soon as possible.
Ours is a youth organization, and many young members might not feel comfortable with adults in it. So, in order to maintain our community safe, we have a special procedure for people older than 25. They need an invitation from a trusted member of our community and, after that, they have to send an email (info.theglobalcafe@gmail.com) with the request. It will be specifically checked by the Administration Council and, if we deem it appropriate and safe, we will accept it and fully give access to all our events and groups. This special procedure is not intended to create inequalities or discrimination, but just to try to preserve the safety and tranquility of our community as much as possible. This procedure might require more than 24 hours, but we'll do our best to be fast.

We used the passcode from December 2020 to July 2021. It was an alphanumeric code given to all new members at the moment of signing up. It was created to simplify all the burocratic procedures and to be used as a safety measure. However, we realized that it wasn't as useful as we expecet. Indeed, it was even counterproductive, because many new members didn't know how to use it. So we decided not to use it anymore. So, if you received a passcode, it is not more necessary.
