Changes of the Privacy Policy and Terms and Conditions from 01/02/2022

Our Privacy Policy and Terms and Conditions have been updated from 01/02/2022. All the changes are made with a purposeful intent and they mean to create a safer community and space to share stories and ideas.

Remind that you automatically accept the new policy/terms if you say nothing.

Here are some (but not all) of the changes of the new Privacy Policy:

• introduction of the parameter Age (we won't ask for the specific age, we'll only ask if somebody is 18 or 25 or not).

• abolition of the archival purposes for the maintenance of personal data;

• simplification of the procedure for the deletion of personal data (it will no longer be necessary to make a separate request: from 01/02/2022, data will be deleted automatically after a leaving request).

Here are some (but not all) of the changes of the new Terms and Conditions:

• introduction of an age limit (14-25). There will be a special joining procedure for people 25+;

• introduction of the request of parental permission when a minor (14-17 yo) asks to join our community;

• introduction of a paragraph about the risks of an online community.

Other changes of the administration of The Cafe:

• abolition of the passcode.
