You Had A Set Of Dale's Combat Gloves!

They're the ultimate in protection for construction, hunting, camping, fishing, clearing brush, riding your cycle, working on your car or in your home shop... while still allowing you complete comfort and dexterity.

Let's take a closer look:

• First of all is the hard-case knuckles. You've probably seen these before on other tactical gloves. But we made ours better, tougher, using a new super-lightweight molded nylon capped with an extra tough Oxford fabric that's practically bulletproof. Excellent for self-defense and to protect your hands and knuckles from ever being scraped or crushed or banged-up on the job.

• Next is the unique fold-away index fingers. Allows you to use your trigger finger for delicate tasks like precision shooting or toggling your flashlight or adjusting your GPS or night goggles without taking off your gloves. And like I mentioned, each fingertip also has a screen-friendly fabric -- allowing you to use your phone or tablet or other touch-screen devices without removing your glove. These options are proving much safer than fingerless gloves that leave your digits exposed to the elements and open to injury. As Dale points out, a lot of Special Forces guys wouldn’t wear gloves because it affected their shooting. But it also opened them up to the elements and the risk of tearing-up their fingertips. In a combat zone, something that simple can get you killed. The TRS Combat Gloves addresses this issue head-on.

• Another thing -- and this makes a big difference. The palm and front of the fingers are covered in grip dots which make an excellent anti-slip surface. Again, we made these extra tough. And it means you can pick up slick lumber and tools and wet, heavy gear with less effort because you're not forced to apply a death grip just hang onto stuff. Makes lifting and holding things in place a lot easier.

• The palm and fingers are also constructed with a microfiber fabric that's soft with excellent hygroscopicity. That's a fancy word meaning the material is highly absorbent and dries quickly. There are even rubberized aero vents on the back of each finger to ensure your hands breathe. Unlike other gloves, with the TRS Combat Gloves sweat or damp conditions or getting caught in the rain won't mean putting up with miserable wet hands. On the contrary, your hands will remain dry and comfortable all day long.

• The wrist band is an extra beefy Neoprene material (the stuff they use in diving suits) that's soft, elastic, shockproof, heat resistant with a triple-stitched stow-away wrist strap that will never rip. Cinch it tight around your wrist if that's what you want. These gloves are never accidentally slipping off your hands. Or keep it loose and comfy by tucking the strap neatly out of the way on a secondary velcro patch. Allows you to wear these the way YOU want without having an annoying strap sticking up or flapping around in the breeze. Again, these are the details that make a difference out in the field in the REAL world -- and it's why the TRS Combat Glove is simply a better tactical glove.

• We also used medium-weight fabrics throughout, which are well-suited for a wide range of temperatures -- from the blazing hot days to the freezing nights of an Afghanistan desert. Granted, they aren't mittens for surviving 40-below winters in Nome Alaska, but they are a perfect balance to keep you comfortable and protected just about anywhere, any time of year.

• The upper wrist area is made from a double-stitched, dual-layer, polyester foam insulation material that's elastic and ventilated to keep the back of your hand protected. It's this kind of attention to detail that Dale insisted on. And the way I see it, if it's good enough for a paramilitary combat soldier, it's probably good enough for regular guys like me and you.
