Deities of Good

Amilana, the chaste healer, is the only religious order who encourages chastity amongst her faithful. Her worshippers prize modesty as one of their highest virtues and view intimate relationships outside of marriage to be very questionable.

Amilana's faithful focus on easing the suffering of those around them. Her monastic orders focus on good works and healthy living, providing sanitariums for those who cannot be cured quickly or easily. These monastic orders often embrace vows of silence for long periods when learning new skills related to the art of healing or caring. Many cities and villages have temples to Amilana, often with a long house in the back for caring for the sick and injured. The her temples can always be counted on to sell healing draughts to any who seek them - even those distasteful to the goddess herself.

Tabin is the god of creativity and beauty. He's often depicted a potter and ceramicists feel a close kinship with Tabin as a result. Anyone who works with their hands for betterment of the world - weather for practical or purely aesthetic are welcome in the Tabin church. Tabin is also credited with the creation of the moon, which provides a communal gather place in the Outlands for the divines and their agents to monitor the goings-on on Thimtona.

The Tabin religious practices focus on creation. All his worshippers are expected to create something - written, scuplted, carved, or forged -- all are valid forms of worship. Tabin temples are gigantic affairs in all of the cultural centers of Lorem. Donations in the form of worked goods are welcomed - and often sold - to fund their works. The temples are places of beauty - where crafted goods are held on display.

Tabin encourages his followers to be resourceful, to fix the broken, and breathe life into their creations.

Xeoz is the god of courage and righteous justice. The Paladins of Dawindar are absolutely devoted in Xeoz, seeking out any excuse to punish the wicked and overcome slim odds. The largest temple to Xeoz is in Dawin's Landing, where the massive stained glass windows catch the dawn sun and wash over the Dawin's Bay.

Stand up for the meek, punish the wicked, bring honor upon yourself through righteous action.

There are rumors among the faithful that there is a demonic influence amongst the priesthood of Xeoz. The elves of the Ardeg and Llothspren blame Xeoz for the burning of the arboreal forest that covered northern Lorem long ago - although human apologists in the Ardeg state it was merely a demon in disguise that influenced Dawin's Wraith.

Teriana is the goddess of hearth, home, family, agriculture, and civilization itself. Her priests are often sought for weddings and births, as her blessings are said to be most potent during these events.

Terianan worshippers focus on the strength of community - whether related by blood, circumstance, or friendship. These traits are believed by the faithful to be the reason why agriculture and city-based living are possible. As such, her worshippers are often found in farming communities and large cities.

Lor'Boric is the patron god of the elves and nobility in general. Many noble houses throughout Lorem have priests of Lor'Boric serving in manor temples, advising  them on how best to suit the needs of the people whom they govern.

Lor'Boric's teachings teach of the divine responsibility places on those who rule and the expectation that they should sacrifice for the governed. Even if one only rules over oneself, each person has a responsibility to themselves to carefully consider the consequences of their own actions. Lor'Boric counts many paladins amongst his faithful, particularly in court of Tulan, where honor is of the utmost importance.

Inius is the god of wind, freedom, optimism, and weather. Inus has a few druids to harken to his call, but primarily has paladins and clerics in his service - seeking to end tyrannical rules and to be rain for those who thirst.

Temples for Inius are often located in windswept places - a bluff overlooking an ocean, a windy pass, or nestled into a wind-tousled forest.

Inius teaches the importance of being able to do as one likes, provided no other is harmed in the doing of it. For every cloud that passes, the sun is sure to re-emerge. Pessimism is heavily frowned upon.
