No — Emmi-Pet is for preventative and cosmetic care only. If your dog has signs of dental disease (e.g. bleeding gums, heavy tartar, tooth loss, or pain), we will refer you to your vet for appropriate treatment.

Yes — absolutely!
At The Dog Den Grooming, our Emmi-Pet ultrasonic dental cleaning service is a cosmetic, preventative hygiene treatment, not a medical procedure. It’s completely non-invasive, silent, and stress-free for your dog. We never perform:
Diagnosis of dental conditions
Removal of tartar below the gumline
Any procedures involving pain or sedation
Those treatments are strictly for vets. We always recommend that any dental concerns be seen by your vet first.
What we can do is support your dog’s oral health with regular, gentle ultrasonic cleanings to help reduce plaque, freshen breath, and maintain a healthier mouth — all while keeping your dog calm and comfortable. 🐶💙
If your dog has excessive tartar, signs of dental disease, or discomfort, we’ll always advise you to seek veterinary advice before continuing.

This depends on your dog’s current dental condition. Most dogs benefit from an initial block of sessions followed by monthly maintenance. A consultation will help us create a plan suited to your dog.
A typical follow up session takes 30 minutes, depending on your dog’s cooperation and the level of cleaning needed. The initial session will take longer as a desensitisation process will be required.

Most dogs accept it very well, especially because it’s quiet and gentle. We take time to build trust and go at your dog’s pace — making it a positive experience.

Just your dog! We use a personal brush head for hygiene, which is kept and used only for your dog. The cost of this is included in your initial appointment.

Your pets first session will cost £45. This includes the initial consultation, your pets own personal toothbrush head and dental record. From then on, your sessions will be £25 per session...or cheaper if you purchase a package!
Package 1: Initial session (worth £45) plus 3 maintenance sessions = £100. A saving of £20!
Package 2: Initial session (worth £45) plus 5 maintenance sessions = £140. A saving of £30!
Package 3: Initial session (worth £45) plus 10 maintenance sessions = £245. A saving of £50!
All packages must be paid upfront in full and are non refundable.
