Puppy Introductions

A puppy introduction is a gentle, positive first grooming experience designed specifically for puppies (typically under 6 months old). It's not just about getting clean—it's about helping your pup feel safe, calm, and confident in the grooming environment.

Why It's Beneficial

✔️ Builds trust: Early exposure helps prevent fear or anxiety later in life.
✔️ Desensitises to handling: Puppies learn that being touched (paws, ears, tail) is okay and even enjoyable!
✔️ Gets them used to equipment: They meet the sounds and sensations of clippers, dryers, and grooming tools.
✔️ Encourages good behaviour: Calm grooming sessions become routine instead of stressful.

 What Happens During the Visit?

Your puppy will experience:

A warm Hydrobath bath using gentle puppy-safe shampoo
A soft towel and low-noise blow dry
A light brush-out
Nail trimming
Ear cleaning (if needed)
Gentle face and paw trim if appropriate
Lots of treats, praise, and cuddles!
Each session is tailored to your pup’s comfort level—the goal is to make grooming a fun and positive event.
