Full disclosure: I'm not a chef.
Ok, ok, calm down, it's not that earth shattering.
I'd be stuck with boiling water and mac & cheese if left to my own devices, so there are some people I'd like to thank for getting me here. Which, in fairness, isn't that far. Yet.
First, I'd like to thank my Mom AND my Dad. Yeah, that's right, dual credit here. You guys taught me how to cook, how to improvise, and a lot of other things. You guys are awesome parents!
Second, I'm to understand Al Gore invented the internet? Uh, without it, I'd have to dig a lot harder for my research on literally everything, so, uh, thanks?
On a more serious note, Chelsea Monroe-Cassel! If it weren't for the Inn At The Crossroads blog, I doubt I'd ever have encountered any immersive recipes for works of fiction, be they D&D, Tolkien, Star Wars, or any number of other sources. And thank you for writing the first official Star Wars cookbook that didn't do Wookie Cookies!
Andrew Rea, aka Binging with Babish. The highlight of my day is seeing a new cooking video come out, and you make it look like fun every time! On top of that, you're the other cook that does fun in-universe recipe invention for everything from the Simpsons to Game of Thrones. You showed me that thinking outside the box and going for some of the more strange recipes isn't always a bad idea.
Without Wookipedia, my list of possible ideas would have been severely limited, given that I can probably name maybe five Star Wars food items I've come across in the books, movies, TV shows, and comics. Thank you to all you countless nerds for your contribution to the soup that is Wookipedia.
I'd like to thank Prof. Roehl for assigning this website project. I really hope I keep up with this site after the project is over.
A huge thank you to the MMCC (Mandalorian Mercs Costume Club)! You guys accepted me for the weirdo I am, and I really appreciate that!
And finally George Lucas, as I'm sure you make time to visit aaaalllllllllll the fan sites out there devoted to your magnum opus. And now that you hate me, thanks for Jar Jar!
Oh, and the nice Disney lawyers no doubt reading this, thanks in advance for not suing me or taking my "hard" work. . .
