Tell us a bit about yourself and when you started CrossFit
I am a person who always had a low self esteem regarding my body. I hate going to gym as I always get lost and don't know what to do. I enjoy eating chocolates and wine. :) I started Crossfit in September 2017 - this was the day my life changed
What was your lifestyle before joining CFL?
I ate so unhealthy and just stopped working out. I hated my body and gained 20kg in a year. My self esteem was at an absolute low. I fell into a deep unhealthy hole
What changes did you notice after starting CrossFit and how do you believe it has helped you?
My day to day activities got so much easier. I could walk in the mall without being out of breath and sweating like crazy. Clothes started to fit better. I felt better and even moving heavy stuff got easier. My self esteem got better and I didn't want to eat unhealthy anymore. I loved my body more and my mental toughness got better. Even in my day to day activities I noticed that my mental toughness got better not just in exercise. CrossFit is a big part of all the changes, it is not just for the body but it forms a healthy mind as well. I made the most awesome friends and my support system was the best I had in my life ever. CrossFit makes you realise what your body can do. You will walk into the Crossfit box the one day and would try something you could never do before and suddenly you can. Crossfit teaches you proper posture and this helps you from injuring yourself even when doing day to day activities.
What are your current views about CrossFit and would you recommend CFL to friends and family?
CrossFit is the best thing that happened in my life and it is for all shapes and sizes. If you are fit or unfit no matter your age. CrossFit is also an awesome support system and people there are so awesome and I made friends for life. I would recommend Crossfit to anybody.
