CrossFit is constantly varied functional movements performed at high intensity.
So what does this mean? Functional Movements are fully body movements that we were born to do, from running, jumping, lifting, climbing and squatting. Varied mean we mix things up, workouts are never the same and we mix up cardio with, gymnastics and weight training. High Intensity, means you train hard with the heart rate up!
CrossFit workouts (WODs) burn calories like no other! Varied, functional movements, performed at high intensity, potently stimulate your metabolic and hormonal systems. So you will loose body fat and get super fit & healthy!
This is a concern for a lot of people, especially the ladies. Unfortunately the fitness industry has mislead people to think that weight is the main measurement of health. There are so many aspects of health, including body fat percentage, blood pressure, cholesterol, mood, and fitness. So we ask that you forget about the scale and focus on your health and most importantly your nutrition. After a few months of CrossFit your clothes will fit better, you will look better naked, you will have more energy and feel healthier so does it matter about that number of the scale? We think NOT!
All of the CrossFit workouts can be scaled. This means that your trainer can adapt any workout for your level of fitness and age. SO CROSSFIT IS FOR EVERYONE! It also means that as you get fitter you can adapt your workouts to make you even more fit! Your trainer should be able to work around most injuries so if you have a 'bad knee' we will find exercises that you can still do.

We have a simple philosophy... we want our members (of all ages) to be healthy over the long term. We don't believe in quick fixes, machines or pills. We don't believe the scale is a measure of health. We know through experience that hard work, support, combined with the right programming and nutrition will help people not only look good, but stay mentally and physically healthy including spending less on medical expenses. We have a box that cares and builds community. People who come train with us get better, feel better and build life long relationships. We also have a clean and child friendly environment. So we welcome YOU to become part of this health movement on the West Coast.

Our fees may look expensive, but before you decide please understand the value you get:
Firstly you get access to quality instruction by a qualified CrossFit trainer, who will help perform movements correctly and help adapt the workouts based on your age and fitness levels.
You get all aspects of fitness, which includes cardio, core, gymnastics, strength and mobility exercises .
All the programming is done for you, so all you need to do is commit to 3 to 6 classes a week, rock up, do the workouts and you will get extremely fit and healthy.
CrossFit is also a community sport, so you will be welcomed, known by name and supported though your fitness journey.
You will have access to do competitions like the CrossFit Open and CrossFit Team series under a registered CrossFit affiliate.
