This project details the creation of a sophisticated door lock system leveraging IoT technology and Telegram integration. The system comprises a NodeMCU microcontroller, an infrared (IR) sensor, a 4x3 keypad, and a servo motor. Upon detecting movement near the door, the IR sensor triggers the NodeMCU to generate a one-time password (OTP). This OTP is promptly dispatched to the owner's Telegram account for verification.
The owner, upon receiving the OTP via Telegram, has the exclusive capability to input it through the 4x3 keypad connected to the NodeMCU. Upon successful entry of the correct OTP, the system activates the servo motor to rotate, unlocking the door and granting access. Conversely, an incorrect OTP input triggers an immediate alert message sent to the owner's Telegram, notifying them of the unauthorized access attempt.
The integration of Telegram not only allows for real-time communication but also enables remote management and monitoring of the door lock system. The combination of hardware components and software programming creates a robust, user-friendly, and secure mechanism for door access control, enhancing both convenience and security.
The project signifies a fusion of hardware implementation and software integration, showcasing an innovative approach to securing access to physical spaces while ensuring seamless interaction and control through a widely accessible communication platform like Telegram.
