Our team could not be more different. We all come from various countries with different backgrounds. Maybe that was the reason why we could work so well together.
Hi! My name is Jeffrey van Velzen and I am from the Netherlands. I study Technical Computer Science at the Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences. I decided to be part of this project because I always had an interest in developing and designing games. In this project I learned a lot more on this topic. I also learned a lot about the Swedish forests and the current problems that are associated with it.

Hello! My name is Ann-Christin and I am from Germany. I study Media and Interaction Design at the Osnabrück University of Applied Sciences. I decided to do the project because I like to develop concepts and keep the user experience in mind. In the process of developing the Forest Game I learned a lot about the Swedish forestry and even forests themself. For me the game is important to teach other people about the problem of the land-use conflict.

Lisa is a lecturer Software Engineering in the study program Computer Sciences at the Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences. She is also the founder of FemIT, a network in which students can meet, support and inspire each other during the HBO-ICT training at the Hogeschool van Amsterdam.
Marianne is a lecturer Human Computer Interaction in the study program Computer Sciences at the Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences. She has been working as a creative developer on the development of apps, educational and serious games and museum installations. She aims to inspire and motivate students to create products with societal impact, that help people in their daily lives.
Bege is a professor in Biology at Mid Sweden University in Sundsvall. His focus is on biodiversity and conservation in forest ecosystems and aims to provide knowledge that support sustainable management that limits the conflicts between needed forest resource and natural values.
Paul is a teacher in Environmental Science at Mid Sweden University. His major interest is landscape ecology and how human land use changes landscapes. Part of this includes also ecosystem services in where the idea is to create a better understanding of what natures gives to humans and the human society.
