In this journey we had many challenges as a group but we kept working hard to develop our game.
The creation of the Post-it note wall became a part of our process and a part of us. It is a presentation and reminder of our teamwork and how much we have achieved in these two weeks.
And it gives an impression of hard work, even when we are not working.
We got a chance to explore the Swedish forest to get a better understanding of our goal. During the excursion we picked some blueberries and tasted lingonberries. We got a lot of inspiration and ideas on how we can use the forest as part of our game.
Some of our men and women fell but we survived the Swedish forest together.
We tried to continue with our minds set on the Werewolf game but we got stuck. That is when we realized The Forest Game was a very time consuming project and we needed to keep moving. A lot of ideas came up and as a team we continued exploring the possibilities the game could have.
The change of plan was when we wanted to make an unique game that is when we left the Werewolf game and focused on our Forest Game.
Our Forest Game from just paper became under this two week more and more interesting. We made prototypes and got together an amount of players, both students and teachers. We experienced our game in action and from there we tried to solve and find missing parts in the game to improve it.
While playing the game we had a lot fun.
We created a fun serious game.
And after all of that work we presented our game to the Summer University people. You want to feel like you were part of it? Just press here!
