Summer School 2021 - Östersund, Sweden
A project by Marilou Coste, Sebastian Fernandez, Niklas Garnholz, Ann-Christin Teigelkamp, Jeffrey van Velzen
Everywhere in this world you find deforestation. But we are most afraid of the deforestation of the rainforest. Yet dramatic clear-cuts of forests are taking place right here in Sweden.
Since the dawn of human civilization, forests have provided us with food, resources, and energy. Our increased urbanized societies with different stakeholders has made it hard to keep our forest. The forest game is all about learning and being aware of the situation we face to keep the forest alive.
For this project we designed a tabletop game that will teach you about the dangers of deforestation.
The project is in relation to a sustainable future. But what is sustainability? And what is the land-use conflict?
You want to know more about the team behind the project? We are five highly motivated students from different countries who have developed a unique game.
Looking for some insights of our working process? We created some vlogs to give a more detailed knowledge about our project.
It's all about the game - you can find here the result of our Summer University project.
A lot of Post-Its. Find out more about how we worked and what milestones we reached.
