Members are expected to report attendance every week, whether they are attending or not unless LOA is in place.
Ensure that all equipment (hardware and software) allows for communication with others without interruption, feedback or distractions. If unable to maintain control over external sounds around you, consider using a push-to-talk option to limit any external noise.
Be polite when communicating. Don't talk over others, and certainly don't prevent others from sharing.
The use of soundboards or similar activities during events, briefings or debriefs is forbidden.
Ensure that in-game name, discord name and TS name match format Initial.Surname. (Example: A.Bloggins)
Ensure that in-game profile voice is set for No Voice. This ensures that your character will not use the default Arma reporting system.
Ensure that in-game profile uses a face that is realistic. Ideally, choose a base game face as it will work with Fish Camo Cream.
As a member you represent this community at all times. This means you are required to not bad-mouth the unit or it's members. While a guest of other units you will follow their rules and behave as if it was ours. If you have concerns, or criticisms then provide them as politely as possible or keep them to yourself.
No abuse of any kind is allowed towards others, period. Banter and abuse are very different things but at the end of the day if somebody believes you are offending them and asks you to stop, you will comply.
Trolling, flaming or badgering others is never acceptable. You know better.
No explicit, graphic or pornographic content will be shared in our community. Failure to adhere will result in immediate removal from the group.
Members of TDM are allowed to attend or belong to other units or communities as long as it doesn't interfere with TDM events. At a minimum if you are skipping our events to attend another group at the same time, or you are too tired to attend because you belong to too many groups, you may be asked to leave or make a choice.
Racism, transphobia, homophobia or any sort of hate speech is straight up not allowed. Not the place for it.
Members will ensure they arrive on time for each event. If unable to arrive on time, you will arrive with minimum disruption to others. If unable to arrive at all, you will provide advanced notice (minimum 6 hours) that you cannot attend. If an emergency prevents you from giving advanced notice we will be understanding.Â
Any pattern of extreme inactivity or lack of communication may result in a conversation leading to removal from the group. If you are having issues making time for this group, it is better to identify this early and have a conversation on steps to improve.
All members will follow orders in-game as required.
All members will ensure they do not clown around during events, including firing weapons into the air, at each other or just generally being a nuisance. Failure to adhere will result in removal from that event and a discussion afterward regarding future in the group.
As we are a Canadian unit, ensure that you follow Geneva Convention rules as closely as possible. They are not suggestions.
Ragequitting an event is never acceptable. If unable to maintain control over emotions you may quietly leave event, and provide reason to staff at a later time once sorted out. Failure to follow-up on leaving an event unexpectedly will result in conversation with staff about behaviour.
