Our Community Engagement event at Altura Bata Home was a heartwarming experience where we, as students, had the opportunity to extend love, care, and companionship to the senior residents, affectionately called “Lolas.” Guided by our sense of social responsibility and compassion, we organized activities and interactions that brought joy and comfort to their daily lives.
Through meaningful conversations, small acts of kindness, and shared laughter, we aimed to make each Lola feel valued, remembered, and cherished. This event allowed us to put into practice the principles of empathy, solidarity, and active citizenship that we learn in school, reminding us that even simple gestures can make a lasting impact on the lives of others. It was truly a fulfilling experience that strengthened our commitment to serving the community with heart and dedication.
HOME FOR THE AGE'S is a shelter that provides care, comfort, and support for elderly individuals who need assistance and companionship. It serves as a safe and loving environment where Senior Citizens are valued, respected, and cared for in their later years.
