Through EAPP, students learn to craft well-structured essays, research papers, reports, and professional documents, while also improving their ability to analyze texts, present ideas confidently, and engage in academic discussions.
The subject emphasizes critical thinking, analytical reasoning, and proper use of language conventions, preparing learners for higher education and future careers where strong communication is key. By mastering English for Academic and Professional Purposes, students gain the confidence and competence to convey ideas effectively, collaborate in teams, and participate meaningfully in academic, workplace, and community settings. Ultimately, EAPP equips students with the skills needed to succeed as articulate, informed, and professional individuals.
Our activity in EAPP, which is making a concept paper, helped us understand how to present our ideas clearly and in an organized way. It taught us how to identify a problem, explain its background, and propose realistic solutions with proper structure and supporting details. Through this, we improved our critical thinking and research skills, and we realized that writing a concept paper is not just about sharing opinions but about creating well-planned and purposeful ideas, which made us more confident in expressing our proposals in a clear and professional way.
