Nissan

Concepts Realized

On July 1, 1911 in Azabu-Hiroo district of Tokyo, Kwaishinsha Motor Car Works was formed. They released their first car in 1914, the DAT, which was an acronym of the founder's names. In 1928, the name 'Nissan' originated during the 1930s as an abbreviation used on the Tokyo Stock Exchange for Nihon Sangyo. It was shortly after this that the company started producing cars once again, and not only that, they started shipping them to the Americas too. From then they have been innovating car tech and have been raising the bar for all other manufacturers.
