Mazda

Small Guy

Starting by manufacturing corks, Mazda was saved from bankruptcy and started producing three-wheeled trucks. They worked in tandem wit Mitsubishi motors, which sold their trucks, and later inspired them to slowly upscale further; making what are known as "Kai cars," which are very small Japanese road-worthy vehicles. They then, finally, moved over to full-scale cars, though they still kept the small style in their design, and went on to make many cars after this, even winning Le Mans.
